I had a wonderful day today - got to sleep in, spend time with my parents and brothers, and go out for supper. I also made a cake. I made a "leftovers" cake. And it was good. I baked a chocolate cake mix and made cream cheese icing to coat it with. Drizzled some caramel sauce on top, and crushed up a Skor bar:
Mmm, mmm. Before I head off to bed, I'll leave you with a shot of my darling and I from my birthday. Neither one of us are very camera friendly, and the rare shots taken of us are usually "self-portraits". This one turned out pretty cute. Happy weekend!
